2. All service purchases are for the right to access certain sections of the UK Stolen Cars database.

4. You must contact the police directly if you discover any details of any stolen vehicle in our database.

5. We do not take any responsibility for damages, loss or injury caused by actions taken through the use of information on this web site and database facility. Use of this web site is at your own risk and without warranty.

6. You should keep all information you enter, up to date, you should update your records to reflect any changes.

7. In cases where search results return no state that the vehicle being searched is stolen, then we recommend that you also search the National UK PNC Database via another facility or search agent.

7.1 We reserve the right to provide data relating to a vehicles stolen status to other search agents or search facilities which may include a vehicle you have entered into our database.

8. Although UK Stolen Cars is primarily aimed at UK residents searching and adding UK registered vehicles, the UK Stolen Cars facility is open to users world wide, providing you are accessing our service within the law of your locale. We do not offer any of our guarantees that we may give to those outside the United Kingdom.

9. UK Stolen Cars are in no way linked to the UK National PNC Database, we operate entirely as a separate entity.

10. We reserve the right to check any details entered into our database at any time with another agent, including but not limited to DVLA, Swansea.

11. Contact details available on this web site are only to be used for the purpose intended. Contact details for stolen vehicles to be used only to relate information about the vehicle and it's current status, our (ukstolencars.co.uk) contact details only to be used for the purpose shown. No contact details on this web site are to be used for marketing purposes without prior written consent from UK Stolen Cars proprietor. This includes and is not limited to uses such as Spam E-mail, Junk E-mail, Marketing E-mail and telemarketing.

12. We do not and cannot offer any guarantee of recovery of vehicles, and that the information within the UK Stolen Cars database is exactly correct, including that of the quality of information given and does not provide any warranty against results returned specifying that a vehicle is stolen or not. We only provide a service of access to a public database and do not offer any involvement in the process and costs relating to any vehicle. UK Stolen Cars do not offer any refund(s)) or warranties based upon incorrect information provided to, or provided by UKStolenCars.co.uk

13. As with any database, we are susceptible to omission and errors, and as such, you agree and accept that errors and omissions to the database are an acceptable part of the service.

13.1 Information from our database showing issuing DVLA Office a vehicle was issued it's registration from, may in some occasions be incorrect due to DVLA Offices giving registration marks to other DVLA Offices where supplies are short. We do not have any control over these situations.

14. Due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that the web site and it's services are available from any point of the Internet at any time.

15. We reserve the right to make the service unavailable at any time without notice for maintenance and for the provision of errors within the web site. We aim to make the web site available for no less than 75% within a calendar month.

16. The web site and it's services must NOT be used to aid in any criminal activity, including but not limited to vehicle theft.

17. All messages sent and confirmed, all data entered into our system and source computer details are logged and recorded. We reserve the right to use this information to assist in any misuse of our system, or where an authorised government body or police force require the information. Where you as a user choose to delete any records from our database, such as stolen vehicles, messages etc., these may be marked as deleted but may still exist in our database for an acceptable time limit within the law set out by the Data Protection Act 1998, for the protection of other users and to help prevent and track abuse of the system.

17.1 Information about you within our database is available to you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, by e-mail or by post for an administration fee of £2. You may apply through the contact us page.
